Mix: Nine San Diego Architects officially opens today at MCASD La Jolla. I took a peak at it at last night’s opening reception and it’s a trip. Each of the nine architect/designer/design teams got their own room in the museum with the assignment to build an exhibit that conveys their design philosophy, creative ideals and how they go about transforming public (and private) spaces. Here are some photos from the show—but it’s really best seen in person, which you can do through Sept. 6.

Went today, loved it. The front desk people swore up & down that they had 7000 attend the opening. I think they meant 700 but what’s a zero or two between friends. Anyway, it’s definitely worth seeing.
