Shopcock = Unions Lie

Yesterday, Kelly Davis reported on how City Councilmember Carl DeMaio paid his boyfriend’s company, Hale Media, more than $18,000 in his effort to get his managed-competition initiative on the ballot. (The effort has, so far, failed.)

It might’ve seemed to be a bit of a sideshow at the time, but Davis reported that Hale Media also owns the domains and The former forwarded to the Hale Media site, while latter was simply a parked page.

That changed today. Now, when you visit and, it redirects visitors to an anti-union site. This is likely a response to the incessant teasing from Labor Council representatives on Twitter.

    Uhhhhh….yeah… and sound like fronts for the not-so-Log Cabin crowd if you know what I mean. *wink wink nudge nudge*
