RE: Threats received by the Mayor’s Office
Per your Public Records Act dated July 22, 2010, regarding threats received by mail, email or noted by phone at the Mayor’ office, there are no responsive documents.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, this PRA is considered closed.

Yeah, I’ve got a question: Really? There isn’t a single crazy out there with an envelope full of baking powder with the mayor’s name on it? No “Endorse the sales-tax increase or I will garrote you” memo from Council member Donna Frye? Apparently, not. Total let-down. I have to say, I’m a little bummed—but that by no means indicates that I endorse threats against public officials or anyone else for that matter. Violence is bad!
UPDATE: Rachel Laing, the mayor’s spokesperson, said this via Twitter: “That there are no public records of threats does not actually mean no one wants to kill him.”
